I have
been creating images since I could hold a crayon, and at nine I received my
first camera. It merged my budding
interests in science, technology, history, and art into one magnificent
instrument. I went on to study
photography and eventually earned my degree in Visual Communications. My
creative vision has grown as I have grown.
It changes and matures with me over time, but my goal remains the
same. I hope to capture the intimate
way light washes and embraces, exposing shapes and textures that may go
unnoticed by casual observers. I
prefer natural light and shoot scenes “as found” whenever possible. Photoshop is used sparingly, more like a
digital darkroom rather than a medium. During the
1990s, my photographs were published in Car And Driver Magazine and In 2007 I
began shooting again, this time in digital.
In my galleries you can see some of my recent images, along with some
of my older works captured on film. I
don’t expect you will like all of them, but I have tried to include something
for everyone. Well I’m sure it is not
my words that you are interested in, so I will let my images do the talking…
